Theme Park Digital Marketing Executive

Gumbuya World is Victoria’s only Water, Wildlife and Theme Park in Victoria and set for some serious growth over the next 5 years! As we head into the 19/20 season, we are on the lookout for a person who lives and breathes digital marketing to help take our digital offering to the next level.
What does this role entail?
Working closely with our Marketing Manager you will help bring to life the digital journey for our consumer having input across SEO/SEM, social media platforms, database building, edm’s, website development, digital asset management and campaign execution.
You will also work closely with external agencies to develop tactical activity plans and post campaign evaluation to test and learn from campaigns.

Here are some things that will be your responsibility:
– Delivery of digital marketing campaigns across key platforms
– Working closely with the marketing manager on the digital side of through-the-line communication campaigns to ensure the digital strategy compliments the overarching strategy.
– Devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate target audiences.
– Utilising your strong analytical ability to measure, evaluate and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns which lead to refining end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
– Identifying trends and insights and optimising spend and performance as a result.
– Support in the creation and maintenance of landing pages for all digital campaigns working with the marketing manager on content and consumer path to purchase.
– Working knowledge of SEM, SEO, social media advertising platform (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn), digital display and programmatic, google analytics and AdWords and key digital publishers, content seeding and ad units.
– Evaluating emerging technologies and perspective for adoption where appropriate.Skills and Experience? Yes, we would love the following:
– You will have 2+ years proven working experience in digital marketing (agency, sales or client side)
– Graphic Design – InDesign, Photoshop. Advanced PowerPoint an advantage
– Theme park or Tourism experience an advantage
– Strong skills and passion for digital media and willing to develop your career in a constantly evolving and dynamic environment.
– Ability to think creatively and bring innovative digital solutions to marketing challenges.
– Proven ability to take ownership of projects and tasks with demonstrated problem solving and time management skills.
– Good communication skills – written and verbal
– Strong attention to detail, time management & communication skills
– Demonstrable experience in digital marketing, including display advertising campaigns, maintaining marketing database, eDM funnels and journeys, social media, google adwords and social ads
– Data & analytics capabilities; experience turning insights into action
– Knowledge and experience with multiple social media platforms and social scheduling.
– Experience using website CMS.
– Experience building email campaigns and using segmented databases
– An understanding of SEO & SEM fundamentals and best practice.
– Experience creating and generating performance reports using Google Analytics
