International Travellers take up caravans

This is an article of the huge increase in purchase and use of caravans and motor homes in the UK over the last 18 months.

Its similar to what we have seen in Australia, with a growing understanding of a higher level of perceived safety from Covid from this form of travel.

Understanding how potential international travellers have changed their mode of travel and stay, will be critical to understanding the new normal for visitation into the future.

Regional areas around the world will be the beneficiary of these changes, however the level of products and service may have to change to meet this new demand, so the benefits can be spread around the country.

With a huge increase in demand and low relative supply of caravan parks and other services, for suppliers there is little incentive to increase the standard of their products, as they are already full.

This will be a challenge in the long term for regional Australia, or people may be turned away from this great alternate travel mode.
