Thanks for the comments Tony and in my work I am striking a balance between strategy and tactics. I totally agree that most businesses have not done the work on what people are wanting, where the trends are going and what the data is telling us.

Thanks Glen and ultimately it first requires education, vision and enlightenment of key decision makers within local government – including elected members. This process needs to be backed by robust strategy, plans and data to showcase the return on investment when the model is right. Only once we get the buy in can we get creative.
