Biography |
I’m a country girl from the tall tree country north of Toowoomba.
ForĀ 12 years, I lived in a major tourism destination, Wisconsin Dells – a little rural town that serviced 2 million visitors a year with the most waterparks per square mile in the world. There I enjoyed fantastic motorbike touring country and lived in a community with people from all across the globe (kind of like Eat, Pray, Love!), while working in tourism customer service and marketing for a B&B/motel/wedding venue/restaurant business.
I continued similar work in Catalonia, Spain before moving to Brighton, England and then Brandenburg, East Germany before returning home to study International Tourism Management at Southern Cross University (though I also spent a semester in Friesland, Holland).
I’ve been working for regional tourism consultancy Tilma Group since 2017 on strategic planning for destinations and tourism events.
